twitter raising more cash

Twitter in raising “hundreds of millions” of dollars in a new financing round, the Wall Street Journal reports, citing “a person familiar with the matter.” The story says the new round values the company “as high as $7 billion.”

In December, the company raised $200 million in a round led by Kleiner Perkins at a $3.7 billion valuation.

You would assume this means an IPO could be awhile.
